Displayed on Anima Mundi Part II, solo exhibition at Parlor, Ghent.

Naiad - from Greek naiein, “to flow”). Is a water healing entity serving as part of a larger slow filtration proces for waste - and rainwater. Imagined in architectural space that interacts with natural phenomena and prioritizes the natural elements of life. An ode to the sacrality of water .

Her porous scales allow vegitation such as algae and mosses to grow on the  structure, aiding the filtration and helping to add more oxigen to water.
